Peru Spring 2014 Day 4

We ended up starting out the day a bit later than expected and spent a short while around the castle. After having lunch we did a few of the stand up picture things and then pretty much it was check out and be on our way. For lunch we ate at the other restaurant. I had chicken that had been roasted very crisply and Daniela had a roasted and smoked chicken leg. Both were very good but hers was a little bit under cooked.

After we checked out we took a moto taxi to the combined services and bus area and bought a shared car ride to Lima's Plaza Norte. The ride was very foggy at the start and that stayed for a while even though we went over into the inland zones of the desert. I was surprised at that. It took maybe an hour but then we reached Plaza Norte. From there we picked up a cab to Daniela's house. Picked up all the stuff we left behind that we would need for the apartment for the rest of the trip and then took another taxi to the apartment.

We really just dropped off some stuff then went to her office (only a couple blocks away in a straight line) to print up some stuff for the Japanese consulate for her visa application on Wednesday and then to make some copies as well.  Donna was at the office and Edwin stopped by just a bit before we left. Donna is trying to learn English and is doing very well.  We talked for a little while then when we were all done we headed to make the copies and they headed off for their night.

After the copies we stopped in the Vivanda and shopped for some breakfast things.  Then we headed to the apartment and ordered pizza and ate that when it came. After that Daniela worked on the paperwork and I ended up falling asleep.

Today's pictures are located here.
